LAFTC Registration is now open!
The 2020-2021 FIRST Tech Challenge of SoCal/Greater LA Qualifying Tournament Season Registration is now open!
There are two steps to the registration process:
Step 1: Register your team with FIRST for this season and pay the $275.00 registration fee to FIRST– which does not include our regional events. Teams must be registered with FIRST in order to be in the system, and then they can register with our LAFTC region. If you have not yet registered with FIRST, you may do so at FIRSTinspires.org.
Step 2: Register your team with LAFTC for this season here and pay the $50.00 registration fee to LAFTC. This will allow your team to participate in our regional events. [Due to COVID and the change to remote play, LAFTC will be subsidizing registration fees this year due to the hardship on fundraising. Therefore, our annual registration fee has dropped for this season from $300.00 to $50.00.]
Information on this season’s game will be released on September 12th, 2020 and can be found at FIRSTinspires.org.
LAFTC Kickoff Information
The LAFTC Kickoff for the 2020-2021 season will be held on Septeptember 13th (Sunday) from 1:00-4:00pm (PST). We will have a presentation talking about what the 2020-2021 season will look like along with workshops focusing on different elements of robotics.
